After hearing testimony from four expert witnesses the jury returned a verdict awarding the plaintiff $0 for the construction defect claims and awarding the developer 100% of amounts claimed

Mechanic’s Lien foreclosure case in Cook County, Illinois. A bench trial in Chancery Court by our client, a concrete contractor, resulted in a Judgment award and corresponding lien for 100% of the amount claimed. The defendant builder paid 100% of the judgment amount with interest within days of the Judgment

Mechanic’s lien claim and breach of contract action in Cook County circuit court on behalf of a steel material supplier for a commercial development involving theft of material and an allegation that developer failed to maintain a secure jobsite resulted in a favorable settlement on behalf of steel supplier

Four year protracted litigation of a broker’s lien claim resulting in a scheduled retrial of broker’s claim for damages. After an initial unsuccessful trial, our office was able to set aside the initial award to the plaintiff. The plaintiff/broker ultimately abandoned their claim by way of voluntary non-suit due to our vigorous unyielding defense
